DHT-Stabilized Air Hammers are made of three major components, they are:

An "Air Hammer" consisting of an underwater valved cylinder and a piston which has been dynamically balanced with the bit assembly.

"Alignment Rings" consisting of a sequence of matched heat fitted gauge rings spaced along the length of the Air Hammer to resist hole deviation.

A "Sleeved-Set" button bit assembly matched to the heavy-duty air hammer for full gauge control in hard rock drilling.

Shown is a DHT-3526 Stabilized Air Hammer used in drilling 26.2-inch diameter holes.AADS DHT-3526 is shown here

This heavy duty Air Hammer is equipped with a percussion bit of a design that allows for positive energy transfer to either steel pipe or rock , permitting the tool to be alternated rapidly between impact+advance, pipe insertion and down-hole drilling.

Complete manufacturing facilities for DHT Tools & Bits

The DHT-Stabilized Air Hammer will effectively drill single-pass or pilot holes ranging from 10" to 30" in diameter.
